Bo’ Story

In 2020, Bo suffered a traumatic injury that should have been fatal. Thanks to Dr. Monica Otto and her colleague, who stepped in without hesitation even after only a short consult they saved his life. Bo’s journey to recovery became a source of hope and inspiration, shared through his own “voice” as he chronicled each step.

Now, every year on the anniversary of Bo’s injury, we honor his story by hosting a food drive that fills Dr. Otto’s office with pet food and supplies. The donations help local rescues and families struggling over the holidays, easing burdens and making a difference where it’s needed most. We’ve also raised funds to help cover veterinary bills for pets in crisis.

Rescue Work and Giving Back

Animal rescue takes many forms. A few years ago, we took in a Doberman from a severe abuse situation. While our own dog Chase couldn’t share a home with him, we ensured his medical care and found him the perfect forever family.

More recently, we partnered with Dr. Otto again to care for and spay a sweet dog whose homeless owner passed away. She’s now safe with a foster family while we help secure a permanent home.

Although we may not be a rescue ourselves, we step up when we can. Every act of support counts.
